Our commitment

PxlPerfect Designs wants everyone to be able to find us, learn what we do, and reach us, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.

The standard we work toward

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our design and testing target. WCAG is published by the World Wide Web Consortium and is the standard most widely used to measure website accessibility.

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard, and some parts do not yet. We are working on the parts that do not.

What we have done

• Built the site so it can be operated with a keyboard alone

• Written descriptive text for images that carry meaning, and hidden decorative graphics from screen readers

• Used heading structure that assistive technology can navigate

• Included a skip-to-content link on every page

• Checked text and background color combinations for contrast

• Written link text that makes sense out of context

• Made forms work with labels, clear instructions and errors that are announced

• Honored reduced-motion settings for people who are sensitive to movement
   

Where we know we fall short

• This site runs on Wix. Some of the code that shapes how pages load and behave comes from the platform itself, and we do not control all of it

• Images of our past work are screenshots of client websites, and some of their alternative text is thinner than we would like

• Any documents we post may not yet be fully accessible

If any page, form or feature is not usable for you, call 903-751-3757 and we will give you the same information by phone, answer your questions, and get your project moving. There is no charge and no difference in service.
